Solar pool heating is simple. Water runs through collectors on the roof, picks up heat, and returns to the pool. On a sunny Mid North Coast day it can lift the temperature enough to turn a short summer into a long one.
You need roof space, a pump that can handle the extra run, and a cover so the heat does not vanish overnight. It will not give you a spa-hot pool in July on its own. Plenty of families pair solar with a heat pump for the cooler months.
We look at orientation, shading from neighbouring trees and how you swim before we recommend it. If solar is right, we include it in the project plan rather than leaving you to find a separate contractor after handover.
